LEOLA

Leola is a simple senior citizen, redneck lesbian legend, on a mission to heal this country one audience at a time. She believes that life is like a casserole and it is up to each of us to be the can of cream of mushroom soup that holds it all together. 

 

A 2019 BroadwayWorld-Award nominee, Leola is the creation of writer/performer/semi-redneck, Will Nolan who hails from Atlanta and lives in Northern New Jersey with his husband and son. Winner of the Long Island City Flying Solo Festival two years in a row, Leola has appeared across the country in a variety of fringe festivals, regional theaters, and middle-aged birthday parties doing her best to bring audiences show stoppin' entertainment that has been called "Dame Edna’s hillbilly cousin giving a TED Talk."
